Our experience using Hootsuite
Hootsuite shines when several people manage many accounts: the inbox, approvals and reporting keep everyone coordinated. Wisdom is useful for quick post drafts and for asking questions about performance.
For smaller teams the price is hard to justify; Buffer covers scheduling for a fraction of the cost. Compared with Sprout Social, Hootsuite is similar in price, and the choice often comes down to interface preference.
Who should use Hootsuite?
Hootsuite is for social media teams, agencies and mid-size to large businesses that manage multiple brands and need engagement, listening and reporting.
Hootsuite vs alternatives
Sprout Social is its closest rival. Buffer is cheaper and simpler. Ocoya and Predis.ai focus on AI-generated content. HubSpot AI adds CRM-connected social tools.
