Our experience using Canva
For social media and marketing content, Canva is hard to beat on speed. Magic Resize alone saves hours, and the background remover is accurate. Text-to-image results are good for illustrations and backgrounds, but Midjourney and Adobe Firefly produce more striking images.
Teams benefit most from Brand Kits and shared folders. Professional designers will still prefer Figma or Adobe tools for detailed layout and UI work.
Who should use Canva?
Canva is ideal for small business owners, marketers, social media managers, teachers and anyone who needs good-looking designs without design training. Start free and upgrade to Pro once you want premium templates, Brand Kit and more AI.
Canva vs alternatives
For pro-grade image generation, compare Adobe Firefly and Midjourney. For UI and product design, Figma AI is the standard. For logos and brand identity, Looka is quicker. For ad creatives at scale, see AdCreative.ai.
